Cuilcagh mountain is located on the border between County Fermanagh and County Cavan. Standing at 665 metres ,it is the highest point in both counties and is deservedly known internationally as “The Stairway to Heaven”, such is its’ beauty as you ascend through clouds to reach its’ peak. It is also the 170th highest peak on the island of Ireland, and Ireland’s only cross-border county top.

Located 25 minutes from Ballinamore (only 7km from the Cavan border), it is undoubtedly one of Irelands most “Instagram worthy” sites. We have several locals who live nearby and can offer local knowledge and what to expect. We can also arrange a packable lunch and coffee to go before you undertake this trial.
